So either Duskdude lived on some weird floating islands in the sky, or this is a heck of a mind trick on Jakob's part. He probably didn't share a neighbourhood with all those Bone Monks and Bone Balls either. If you enjoyed the level mechanics The Escher Labs had to offer, you won't be disappointed here.
Thirty seconds, one haunting sound, one bit of text. That's all it takes to tell you some backstory, something bad clearly happened to Duskdude before the cult got anywhere near him. Simple yet elegant in its execution. That's one of the best things I can say about this whole game, really.
