Exploring what could've been with the cut boss battle against Dunya.
The AvP2 game tools has a boss entity named AIDunyaExosuit. The entity is a fully functional boss character that never appears in the final version of Aliens versus Predator 2. The mission objectives list and the beta demo shed even more light on how the Dunya boss may have appeared and fit into a story line.
In this video, I explore what makes boss Dunya work. She has two phases, one where she's fully armed and after she ejects her windshield exposing her head. I took this discovery and attempted to recreate a boss battle scene at the end of the third marine mission, Betrayal, and I recreated a battle at the end of Loose Ends - the sixth Harrison campaign mission.
As seen in the video, various clues have hinted at a second part of the Loose Ends campaign mission and an Iron Bears mercenaries' presence in Loose Ends.
