CuteFloor | Dune ⭐ Early Pre-Release Demo @CuteFloor | Uploaded June 2017 | Updated October 2024, 6 days ago.
In early 1992, the French company Cryo Interactive published a non-interactive demo of Dune, an adventure game based on Frank Herbert's science fiction novel and David Lynch's movie of the same name. The final game has been released by Virgin Games.
Even though the demo was intended to be self-running only, a playable incomplete version of the game is accessible with some fiddling.
The most obvious differences are the graphics like the Cryo logo, minor interface and location changes, and Paul's portrait, which didn't resemble Kyle MacLachlan yet. But the demo also contains an incomplete translation to English, which has a lot of text differences.
