In each Musical Toolbox video, a trained teaching artist demonstrates a different entry point to music making. Viewers explore breath and movement by giving voice to instruments; they discover musical opposites through moving and chanting to different rhythms; and they engage their imaginations by creating stories that come alive with sounds and materials!
We imagine children and caregivers using these videos in several ways: to inspire related playful interactions, to learn about musical language and elements, and to enjoy these musical experiences.
We are prioritizing adding closed captioning to our existing videos and creating videos with Spanish-speaking and bilingual facilitators.
