Donald Sullivan has been thinking about only himself for years. But now that his estranged son and grandson are in town for Thanksgiving, he's starting to see what he's missed. Paul Newman gives his eighth and final Oscar-nominated lead performance in this dramedy based on Richard Russo's bestselling novel. Newman is supported by Jessica Tandy (in her last screen role), Melanie Griffith, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Bruce Willis as the small-townsfolk in upstate New York who deal with Sully in their own unique ways.
