Join Museum Education Officer Chris Jarvis to hear about the natural history of some of the planet’s most stunningly beautiful and fascinating creatures, the birds in this online science and art workshop.
Chris Jarvis is one of the Museum’s Education staff with responsibility for the adult and primary schools education and events programme. After a childhood during which he was encouraged to study natural history, no matter how varied in subject matter, first hand (with his bedroom looking somewhat like a cross between a lab, museum and zoo) Chris did his school work experience at the museum.
In 2003, Chris returned to work at the museum when his perfect job came up combining his two greatest passions; teaching and natural history! Chris is also a keen cartoonist and believer that, as mankind has evolved to learn through play, we should play at our work and work at our play!
