In celebration of World Environment Day, we feature Dr. Victor Savage in this episode of "Drawing from the Fulbright Experience"- a #Fulbright75 video series that commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright Program.
Victor is currently an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies. He was previously the Head of Department of Geography at the National University of Singapore, as well as the Director of the Office of Alumni Affairs. His research interests include environmental and climate change, sustainable development, and geography and geopolitics in Southeast Asia.
Victor spent a few years in the United States pursuing graduate education through the Fulbright Program. Find out how his experience impacted the work he does today, and how a small linguistic difference between the United States and Singapore made for a humorous cultural learning opportunity!
