I sketch and ink Sergio Aragonés' Groo The Wanderer from the backside, in a battle ready pose, like the pose he strikes in Epic 79 "The Monks of Monjes." Were you thinking I was going to draw Groo's butt? 😀

I'm not ready to make a "tutorial" on how to draw Groo -- so, this is NOT a tutorial -- and I'm not even ready to show drawing Groo's face yet. This video is just a pencil sketch of Groo (not drawing him as Sergio would, by putting pencil to paper and having a complete cartoon of Groo in 10 seconds or less) and then inking it. I offer some thoughts and comments as I draw and tell some stories about drawing a comic strip for my university news paper.
