Normally if you are in Pages on the Mac and want to start a new document, you have to pick a template. But since it’s usually the blank one, you can save a step. Go to the Pages menu, then Settings, and make sure General is selected. Under “For New Documents”, click to choose Use Template and then click the Change Template button. Pick Blank, or whatever you like, and now every time that’s what you’ll get.
