In this GIMP basics tutorial I show you how to draw a simple arc, or semi-circle, using GIMP. This method uses all built-in tools, including the selection tools and paths, and is highly customizable for your own unique styling. With this method, you can draw an arc with a solid line, dotted line, dashed line, or even a pattern.

GIMP is a free raster-based photo editor most similar to Photoshop. It can also be used for shape drawing and graphic design.
