We recently went hands-on with Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen running on the Nintendo Switch 2 in handheld mode. This video features 15 minutes of combat-focused gameplay as I take on several enemies, including a Griffin, using the Mage and Archer vocations.

While I couldn’t verify the frame rate or build, the game looked impressive and remained smooth even when the action became hectic. Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen launches on October 9, 2026.
