Please PM me if you have any questions, and before you buy a DragonLink.
This is a very brief overview of the DragonLink 500mW 433MHz long-range transmitter and receiver hardware and a step-by-step tutorial on how to hook it up to the Spektrum DX7 transmitter using a switching 3.5mm jack. This method delivers a strong and secure control signal to the DragonLink module for reliable operation, but also permits easy reversion to use of the DX7 as the original 2.4GHz transmitter. This does require medium soldering skills, a circuit tester, a 3.5mm switching, stereo jack and a 3.5mm stereo plug.
A technician class or higher HAM license is required to legally operate this unit in the US. The HAM license is easily obtained through a written test and $20 or less, good for 10 years.

There is a free receiver program for referrals. Contact me for any questions on this as well as the installation and use of the unit.
3.5mm switched stereo jack (there are many sources for these, eBay is one)

3.5mm stereo plug - order from eBay, online retailer, or just cut one off of something you have around - you almost certainly already have one of these somewhere.
