Full run through Dragon Spirit (ドラゴンスピリット), for the NES/Famicom. This was my very first attempt playing the game using the Gold Dragon (easy mode), and I cleared it on my first try without dying! I also cleared the game using the Blue Dragon (normal mode), also on my first try, which is in a separate video (youtube.com/watch?v=GZ4XYBGlud8)

A new PB in Gradius V after not playing it for over 10 years! And I reached Loop 6 Stage 7!

In truth while I think the meme stage is kinda funny, I would be lying to say this run wasnt a disaster and disappointing.
I went into loop 5 with 17 lives (way more than Ive ever had before) and died like 20 times and almost threw the run entirely multiple times. The worst was in 5-7 with one of the dumbest most brain dead deaths Ive ever had against the Keepers Core. Managed to salvaged the run and get pretty deep into loop 6 before some more stupid deaths ended the run.
So yes, a new PB, but also a massive missed opportunity.")
