Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Season 5 has arrived alongside a notable nerf to Super Saiyan God Vegeta, and this video puts him to the test to find out whether he can still perform at the same level as before. No commentary, just gameplay evidence to let the results speak for themselves.
The Season 5 patch reduces his base HP and Armor across all levels, making him noticeably squishier in extended fights. The bigger hit comes to his Red Fury passive, with the cooldown reduction while active dropping significantly from 70% down to 20%, severely limiting how frequently his skills can cycle during a powered up state. His Divine Zone skill also sees its cooldown extended from 11 to 13 seconds, reducing how often he can pull enemies in and set up his God Shine Attack combo.
Red Fury builds by landing Rush Attacks and Skills on enemy heroes, maxing out to activate buffs, armor recovery and cooldown reduction. Divine Zone pulls nearby enemies in with energy pulses, with the final wave delivering a stronger pull that can be accelerated by activating God Shine Attack during the skill. Together these two abilities define his playstyle, and both have taken a hit in Season 5.
Whether you are a Super Saiyan God Vegeta main assessing whether he is still worth playing, or a Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra player tracking the Season 5 meta, this video gives you a clean look at where he stands post nerf.
