SnappyDragon | Draft With Me! Victorian 1890s Vest pattern from Keystone Tailoring @SnappyDragon | Uploaded September 2020 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
The 1895 Keystone Jacket and Dress Cutter book is a great resource for late Victorian pattern drafting, so when I couldn't find a vest (sorry Brits, "waistcoat") pattern I liked for my 1890s walking suit, I chose to draft my own! The instructions and measurements are a bit confusing, and I hope this little walkthrough is helpful for anyone else drafting and sewing from this book.
