Part 3: I start with discussing the concept of skepticism and the fact that we often believe things that aren't true. N waves are not real radioactive waves, yet there were over 100 papers on N waves in the Physics literature. Urban legends such as the Elephant that sat on the VW story are reported in newspapers including the New York Times, and yet are Urban Legends.
I then discuss the various theories from the scientific point of view of what could cause a near death experience, lack of oxygen to the brain, etc.
This segment ends with a description of our Seattle Study of Children who had nearly died.
