About the speaker
Charlotte earned her PhD in 2016 at Edge Hill University, and is now a Lecturer in Psychology at Aston University. Her research focuses on the affective, motivational and cognitive processes that influence addictive behaviours, as well as how intergroup relations shape how we interact with others. Charlotte is an advocate of open scholarship; she is Aston's Local Network Lead for the UK Reproducibility Network (UKRN), organises the Aston ReproducibiliTEA journal club, and is a member of the Framework for Reproducible Research Training (FORRT). She is an Editor of Registered Reports for the journals Addiction Research & Theory and Peer Community In Registered Reports, and is currently writing her own book: “A Student’s Guide to Open Science: How the Replication Crisis can Reform Psychology”.
