What if everything you were taught about the age of the Earth was built on assumptions nobody can verify?
Dr. Andrew Snelling holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Sydney. He spent six years as a field and mine geologist across Australia, served as a research consultant to the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization, and is one of only a handful of geologists permitted to collect rock samples from the Grand Canyon under a National Park Service research permit. He was a principal investigator on the eight year RATE project and authored the two volume Earth's Catastrophic Past. He currently serves as Director of Research at Answers in Genesis.
This is not a man who ignores the science. He has done the science, been in the field, and followed the evidence.
