Their sixth film together, Kristine Samuelson (last nominated for an Oscar in 1976) and John Haptas went to Sweden to investigate Resignation Syndrome, which leaves children in coma-like state, and the stresses of immigration that seem to have created the phenomenon. The dynamic duo sat with David Poland to discuss the film and their work together.
