Errol Morris is one of our greatest documentarians. But his most recent release, American Dharma, is built on a long interview of Steve Bannon and though Errol's position on Bannon is quite clear in the film, the politics of giving any space to Bannon's ranting made the film too hot to handle for a couple of years after the film's premiere at TIFF. It is finally coming out and at the end of the Trump Administration, it is a fascinating document of the voices that have lived in Trump's head from early in his journey as president.
