This is from my trip from Peka Peka to Pukerua bay on 09.08.2020, running downwind wth a following sea, just north of Paraparumu. top speed on this trip was 18.5 KM/h, this would have been getting close to that.

Boat is a QK Tasman Expess, Kevlar/cabon fibre lyup, carbon fibre wing padle with crank shaft, sail is a 1 sq m custom made kayak sail, filmed on a Go Pro Hero 4 on a Railblaza camera arm.
