In June, RTD began construction in two new segments of the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project: The Downtown Loop Midblocks and the Colfax Avenue Alignment. The project team made strong early progressin both areas with activities including demolition, concrete and rail removal, and rail welding. In mid-June, crews completed the full reconstruction of the rail crossing at Seventh Street in the Colfax Avenue Alignment. Work in both areas is scheduled to be completed early 2027.
