In this journal entry I'll demonstrate a programmable joystick interface I recently picked up for my Speccy. I'm not sure how popular these were back in the 80s, but I had trouble getting it to work with some games, including Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy. It did work in BASIC, so I'm not quite sure why it failed on these popular games.
