i need to stop getting world records i'm running out of title variations!!! i accidentally hit the wrong key on my speedrun timer near the end and thats why it only paused, but generally it should've actually stopped around 15:35!!
brought this run up from the grave because of a horrendous first half roomgen, itemgen, you name it; though I absolutely nailed all of the skill-based portions of this run, with only a few relatively minor mistakes here and there. we take those!!!
also I believe that I'm the first DOORS speedrunner to ever get 5 separate world records for solo no-shop!!! and nobody else is even close!!! poggers!!!

So I was tinkering around with a few charts and this one caught my eye. After playing around with some of the sections I immediately fell in love with the vast amount of methods you could potentially use to clear this, essentially making this manip heaven. There are so many different methods to use in order to clear all of these sections and its roughly up to you to find out which one suits your playstyle best!
Regardless of this being probably my favorite chart in the game at this point, I got horrifically unlucky within this smaller grind. Any time I got past roughly 60% I would immediately revert my playstyle back to what I would like to call kindergartener status where I would shitmiss everywhere for practically zero reasonable cause. Despite that, this is definitely my favorite level of all time, and it was a blast to practice :)

Over 2 years ago I started playing this level. I once thought it would be my very first 21/universal clear. Oh how wrong I was.
The run I did years ago was completely trivial as it leaves out all 3 of the hardest parts of the level, those being both of the Cicada Cubes at the beginning and end, and this odd part at roughly 40% that I could just never figure out. At a run-time of 7 long minutes, youll likely need to be nearly 100% consistent at every section, including the aforementioned ones.
This level has been a real thorn in my side for the longest time. Ive had multiple far runs, reverse chokes, etc, throughout the last few months but could never quite close it out. Extremely happy to have this one done :3

Okay being completely honest here, these runs are starting to get SUPER optimized and we are very quickly approaching the end of these daily World Record trades. This run on its own was already quite insane, and obviously theres potential to push this even further, but were at the point now where you have to have perfect gameplay and nearly perfect luck to get much further.
This was also quite the choke, it definitely couldve been a 6:14 if I simply didnt over-risk heed at the tail-end of the run, but honestly who am I to complain? Were getting into some pretty insane territory, and if new and *consistent* tricks arent found soon, things are going to start slowing down. A lot.

Another really fun chart! Started doing runs of this directly after Eternal, and managed to get this within 24 hours of that clear. This makes the third(?) time Ive cleared multiple 21s within 24 hours, which is kind of hilarious honestly.
