THIS IS A DEMO WITH POST COMMENTARY. The real run. This is the craziest demo I will ever record, and the hardest max I have done so far. Thank you all.
Attempts: 1778
14 attempts past the platforming. 8 deaths to the revenants (4 of which were pretty much throw aways from the beginning of the grind) and 5 deaths to the finale.
A few important things I didn't mention in the video:
1) 75% of attempts will die to the first 2 fights. I cannot emphasize this enough.
2) So much can go wrong in the platforming. You would need to play it yourself to see exactly how much but I do wanna say that the corner cybers can randomly splash you sometimes (very rare).
3) Eating a rocket and getting away with it in the platforming is uber rare. Starduster had the same thing happen to him. Check out his run here: youtu.be/Ng6rcJ4Q4Qg
4) In the rev wing, it's possible for some revs not to teleport into the final fight (the ones that teleport in high in the rafters, I didn't show them off).
5) The invuln rush towards the center isn't all about making cybers kill things. Try to kill as many archviles as you can as well (~2000 kills means you did well, I had 1900 so I did alright).
