Mars Core is 1 of 2 new official master levels, this is my first UNM clear.
2 areas that I was mostly scared of here, the section immediately after getting the BFG and the smoke filled room. I think I got myself trapped there at one point in both areas so I was kind of lucky to make it out alive.
Had some ammo trouble with the cyber mancs at the very end in my nightmare playthrough, so I decided to just BFG that section once instead of getting myself killed.

Description:
A tool-assisted speedrun of the latest and final version of Sigil.
E5M1: A lot of elevators. The start was difficult since the platform was quite crowded and I needed to pass a linedef in the middle of it. The rest of the level is quite simple.
E5M2: I try to get some momentum before jumping down at the start to clear as much distance as possible, imps blocking from below made things difficult. I was a bit too careful with the damage floor, since there are 2 soul spheres health isnt really an issue.
E5M3: Another frustrating start because manouvering past the enemies wasnt easy. I had to pick up the chaingun so I only got to kill the 2 zombieguys infront of me, thankfully that turned out to be enough. I didnt think Id have enough speed to clear the gap since its quite far, but the cacodemon helped me across :) Didnt expect it to be faster than map02.
E5M4: Obviously a lot longer with the keybars being taller. The yellow key door opening takes too long so I decided to go open it first and take the crusher path and just rocket jump across. Shame its not possible to activate the red key switch through the wall, because then I could have skipped the whole red key area. This area was pretty difficult because it wasnt easy getting past some of the monsters. Just barely managed to activate the bars so that I could climb them like stairs.. also really low health so I had to use the cracks to avoid taking damage.
E5M5: I have to wait for the fast lift twice in this version because I have to cross a linedef to open up the way to the next area. For the blue key area I struggled quite a bit, I also should have fired a rocket into the gap in the floor to kill an imp that would block me later. I didnt feel like re doing it so I just went with it. I activated the last elevator by pressing a switch through the wall, saves a little bit of time.
E5M6: I wasnt sure if I needed the plasma rifle so I decided to skip it, that was a mistake since I probably could have used it on the start of the next level. Maybe I could have gone for the invulnerability as well and used some rocket boosts somewhere.
E5M7: Getting past the monsters in the initial corridors was not fun, plasma rifle could have saved a few tics here I guess. Also monsters before red key door was pretty much the same, at least I got past somewhat smoothly. I couldnt use the BFG because of weapon switching being too slow. Some linedefs were moved in the new version which made it easy to skip the raising elevator after red key door. Linedef skip on an east linedef to skip 1 teleporter, I figured I wouldnt bother with the second one, then of course the 3rd one which saves a lot of time.
E5M8: I was a bit low on health so I had to waste a few tics on grabbing the 25% by the spectre. A rocket jump to skip across the barrier and a second mid air rocket to get to the exit :)")
