A pretty straightforward boss with a very nice design. Most of his attacks spawn tree roots that damage you on contact, with progressively more roots the less health he has left. Theres a special skill for Mea Culpa (Penitent Ones sword) that unlocks 4th combo attack and deals ridiculous amount of damage to him if performed, for anyone looking to end this fight as fast as possible.
The footage is from PC, Im planning to record all the boss fights from this game without taking damage and with no magic (or Prayers, as theyre called in this game).")

Hi everyone, Dark Souls 1 Remasters release date is getting closer with each day, so I thought it would be a good time to start uploading on a somewhat regular basis again. My graphics card just recently got fixed after half a year of sending it to repair services, so I might take some time to get a hang of this game again, hopefully it wont take too long.
Anyway, this is the first thing I wanted to do after getting the card back, try my luck with the bosses without sprinting, either on sl1 ng+7 or regular ng if some bosses prove too hard or too annoying for me to deal with in a reasonable time frame. My main goal on this run is to beat the bosses up until Pontiff this way and well see how it goes from there.
Most bosses from this run were already done by a few players, like G-S0ul, nothing right, Xerieh and Aura, so if youre interested in seeing more of this right now I recommend checking them out, theyre really great players with a lot better upload schedules than me.
Not much to say about ol Gundy here, his fight isnt particularly interesting and he goes down very quickly against this weapon set, his Untended Graves version will surely pose a lot more challenge if I manage to get that far.
