Shows that it's possible (though not always easy) to 'bump grab' the blue key in Doom 64 level 2, The Terraformer. This can allow the player to skip a scripted puzzle sequence that lasts several seconds.
In this video the player uses a simultaneous combination of Run-forward plus Strafe-sideways. This 'strafe-running' maneuver moves the player character at an odd angle, but at a speed that's somewhat faster than plain forward-running. (For more about the various movement speeds in Doom 64 see youtu.be/PP90OPiemIk and the video description there.)
While this particular key-grab trick can be done in all retail versions of Doom 64, in practice it can be difficult to do, and may take several tries.
(For an example of the normal way to access the blue key, see youtu.be/yRejU7Xn3LY and the video description there.)
Notes on the making of this video: Generally speaking this is a 'no monsters'-style demo, made to quickly show the stated objectives without additional minutes of combat.
