Having issues in the workplace is not unique to the law enforcement community, However, it is prevalent in many departments. Most LEOs know the feeling of having a grievance and not knowing who to voice that issue with. In Arizona, Sheriff Deputies, Police Officers, and Troopers have the ability to take on these challenges themselves. Attempting to resolve conflicts with Human Resources or Command Staff might cause more problems then it solves however, which is why AZCOPS encourages talking with local employee group leaders before taking on the big guys.
