Today I discuss what you should buy as an alternator for your boat. In this video I try to make the case to stay with a smallish alternator. No more than 100a if you aren't changing the belt. If you go with a ribbed belt (which is always a great idea) keep it within reason, maybe 120a or 140a as a maximum size.
