This was filmed in Donostia of the Basque Country in Northern Spain. The Spanish name for the city of Donostia is San Sebastián. Euskadi is the Basque word for the Basque Country. Donostia is in the Gipuzkoa province and sits along the Bay of Biscay that runs along the countries of Spain and France.
Brandi and I visited Donostia and the general Basque region in June of 2017 road tripping along the coast for a week. This city on the sea ended up being our favorite for its history, natural beauty, coffee shops and cafes. There seemed to be a vibrant life floating around the streets. Old Town or Parte Vieja had our attention - you can spend hours on foot exploring without seeing all of it.
