The Tower of the Americas (locally known as the Hemisfair Tower) sits right in Hemisfair park and was built during the HemisFair '68 celebrating 250 years of life in San Antonio, Texas. It is 750 ft to the top of the antennae, the highest point on the tower and is surrounding by parks, historical German houses and the Henry B. González Convention Center which is connected to the Grand Hyatt.
