My 101% speedrun tutorial of 'Platform Perils' in "Donkey Kong Country" for the Game Boy Advance.

NOTE: This tutorial is not meant to be friendly. There might be a bit of safeness. But to get the fastest possible time, these tricks must be performed.
Bonus Room #1 skipping:
Skipping Bonus Room #1 is faster because it sets up for revisiting the level in order to do the Start+Select trick, thus skipping the waiting game.
Arrow Platforms:
After landing on an Arrow Platform, wait about 5-10 frames, then cartwheel off of it. This is very important to know for most of those platforms.
Army sections:
Armies are more annoying than in the SFC version.
Picture and letter O approaching:
Getting both the picture and the letter O in one pass is hard.
After Star Barrel:
This section is hard. Very hard if one chooses to play risky.
After letter N:
This section can be obnoxious if one chooses to play risky.
Gnawtys on Arrow Platforms:
This section is hard if one chooses to play risky. Cartwheeling off of the Arrow Platform with Gnawty on it is faster. But make sure to delay the cartwheel before moving in order to defeat 3 other Gnawtys. Fail to do that, and there's a chance that falling to the abyss may happen.
Advanced Krusha section:
This section is very hectic without slowing down. Make sure not to jump from an Arrow Platform at a high place, because for some reason, the Vine Barrel randomly doesn't spawn. If that happens, good luck getting pass that last Advanced Krusha on the Arrow Platform.
Last K-O-N-G letter:
See why the K-O-N-G letters are required to get 101%? Because collecting them in every level gives a picture.
Bonus Room #1:

After getting the letter G, jumping from the rope to defeat on Neckies is faster.

Its possible to one-cycle the fast spinning Barrel Cannon at the very start to get the letter O, but its pretty much frame perfect.

Letter K approaching:
Normally, the shortcut would already be taken after getting the letter K. But getting a picture in the Winky Bonus is required to get 101%. So its faster to just get the Winky Token and then take the shortcut.
DK Barrel:
If Diddy wasnt available in Jungle Hijinxs and Coral Capers, he will be available now, especially after taking the shortcut.
Barrel Cannon physics:
The Barrel Cannon physics are different from the SFC version. In the GBA version, holding either Left or Right on the D-Pad while holding the B button gives movability after shooting out of the Barrel Cannon. Holding Right on the D-Pad without holding the B button after shooting out of the Barrel Cannon can make that section faster. By holding only Right on the D-Pad, the Barrel Cannon gives extra speed. Of course, this only works when the Barrel Cannon is shooting horizontally. It doesnt work when the Barrel Cannon is shooting diagonally (except for certain ones that give extra speed).
Bonus Room #1:
Dropping down while avoiding the 1st Barrel Cannon would be faster. However, its pretty much pixel perfect.
Letter N:
In the GBA version, the letter N is removed from the shortcut route. So the shortcut is skipped in order to get the letter N. The shortcut is taken afterwards.
Level ending:
Finishing a level as Donkey is important. In fact, finishing a world as Donkey is important. In order to get a picture, a world (Kongo Jungle) has to be finished by Donkey. Afterwards, that world has to be revisited to add 1% more to 101%.
Be sure to go to Candy after this level. In the GBA version, playing Candys dancing mini-game (as well as getting Perfect rating [1 Hit allowed]) is required to get 101%.

Crab patterns:
After the story cutscene, the crab pattern starts. It depends on how fast or slow the levels are cleared along with text skipping. The more one speedruns this category, the more the speedrunner will see some fishing patterns. Regardless, the RNG is still involved in them. In a casual playthrough, it can be random whether the crab shows up or not.
Funkys Fishing 1:
For this mini-game, dont bother waiting to catch the crab.
