1. RingRush did this in his dry storage video, but I thought it was a good idea to elaborate on it. After storing an object, pick up another object. The first object will remain in storage. I haven't found any way to get it out of storage. Doing so could be very useful; you could put an object into "permanent" storage, move around without the usual restrictions of storage, then take the object out of storage in a convenient location like the inside of the Blast-O-Matic.
2. After doing permanent storage, you can do regular storage with another object. The first object will remain in permanent storage and the second will go into regular storage.
3. Why settle for double storage when you could do quintuple storage?
