Donald Trump's run in 2025 can be summarised in three words: "not good enough". The time has come to fully abandon any sort of populism as a vehicle for right-wing change. It either doesn't threaten the modern liberal system and is therefore permitted to exist, or, is controlled by foreign interests that put their countries first ahead of the host population, chiefly Israel. I want to emphasise that it's only so easy to rag on Trump for this because he's the best of a bad bunch and the only populist competent enough to successfully break onto the scene, whereas Nigel Farage et al. can't even do that, while still displaying all of the downsides.
