The issue of the phenomenon we witness of a strangely large number of libertarians becoming f*scists is our community's 'elephant in the room'. We seem to cross our fingers and hope that by ignoring it, the problem will just go away. This couldn't be further from the truth, as the more we've been ignoring it, the worse it's been getting. It's certainly not exclusive to us, either. So here are my 2 reasons why I think it happens, and then what we can do to stop it.
