After staying the night at Arapawa Homestead, we took the opportunity to explore the area around Tory entrance, an area that is often difficult to reach, and seldom seen from the water, apart from what can be glimpsed from the ferry. we saw caves big enough to paddle through, a dolphin pod, and some beautiful lanscapes.
Boat is a QK Tasman Expess, Kevlar/cabon fibre lyup, carbon fibre wing padle with crank shaft, sail is a 1 sq m custom made kayak sail, filmed on a Go Pro Hero 4 on a Railblaza camera arm.
