While on vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains, we spent a day at Dollywood. Visiting Dollywood is a tradition as I have been going there since before Dolly Parton became co-owner and changed the name to Dollywood in 1986. I started going to this theme park as a child when it was owned by Jack and Pete Herschend, (Herschend Family Entertainment) and it was then called Silver Dollar City.
