After missing the lovely flowers that my friend sent me for my birthday, I decided to make some paper ones to keep my workspace feeling cheery. Using my Cricut Maker to cut out the petals and leaves, I made 3 cute Anenomes to brighten my day! Now I decided to add these flowers to my Dollar Tree farmhouse wood sign. I used some kindling wood from the dollar store, some Gorilla Glue (not sponsored), brown shoe polish from Dollar Tree, finishing nails, a hammer, jute twine, and a "thankful" peel and stick from Dollar Tree. I also printed out a 6" clip art of a mason jar. I then stained the 11" X 13" wooden sign that I made and placed the "Thankful" word in place. Then I used the paper template as a guide to hammer in finishing nails about 1" apart around the perimeter of the mason jar. Next I tied the jute twine to one of the nails and wound it around the other nails like string art to outline the mason jar. Then I stuck in the flowers and attached their wires to the nail at the bottom.
