Hi friends! Today I will show you how to make a cookbook (or any book for that matter) stand that looks pretty even when not used as a stand! This is a multifunction project. A Dollar Tree DIY home decor and organizer in one! I also included bonus painting tips and how I made my own buffalo check pumpkin using a ceramic pumpkin and some paints that I already have.
Other uses of the stand aside for using it as a cookbook or recipe book stand, you can also use it as regular book stand, DIY Tablet Stand, DIY Tablet Holder, DIY Book Holder, DIY Folder Holder, DIY File Holder, DIY Mail Holder,
Materials used:
Cookbook Stand Project:
1 Dollar Tree jar-shaped wooden sign
Scissors (to cut twine)
Chalk paints: creamy white, elephant grey, and black ink by Waverly (I got them at Walmart)
Artists' paintbrushes - 1 large flat, 1 medium flat, 1 pointed
1 Dollar Tree large picture easel
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Recommended: E6000 or any stronger hold glue for a more permanent hold.
Buffalo Check Painted Pumpkin Project:
1 small Dollar Tree pumpkin (preferably in white, but any color would do, just paint the base white)
Artists' paintbrushes - 1 large flat, 1 medium flat
Chalk paints: white, elephant grey, and black ink by Waverly (I got them at Walmart)
