Same Artist. Same watercolours. Same brush. 8 different outcomes!
In this video I make one painting on 8 samples of different watercolour papers. These were chosen because they're ones I use! These are all ones I keep in circulation for different situations.
I made a spreadsheet in order to compare the paper types, and particularly work out the cost per square foot of each paper so I can get a proper comparison on pricing. The prices were all checked today, 3rd November 2023 and are the price I can actually get them for (not recommended retail price!) in the UK minus any shipping costs. You can see my spreadsheet here:

Paper used in this video:
All papers are cold pressed (sometimes referred to as 'Not') with the exception of the Artway Indigo paper which is the medium textured. When I bought it, I thought the website described it as recycled and I do say that in the video, however, checking today there's no mention of that.

One of these blocks was sent to me last year from Etchr as a sample to review. I've since used this paper quite a few times and have purchased some with my own cash but the original block I had was a gifted product.
