A main goal of my channel is to make coffee, great coffee, more accessible. So, having heard this myth for years, I figured it was finally time to apply some testing. Of course, this isn't the totality of testing that could be done, but I think representative of a wider sample set. By sifting out fines and pitting different quality grinders against one another, we are able to see both the effect of excessive fines in a brew along with the effect of the overarching particle size distribution. Hope you enjoy! And perhaps use the knowledge from this to improve your brews!
