I have not tested the DUO on three scopes and with this much experience with it I feel confident now that I can make recommendations. Yes I do recommend the DUO for those that want or need a OSC. It really does make the entire astrophotography process easier. Furthermore the most asked question. Does it work, and with every scenario I have tried it does in fact work. Passes with flying colors really. The new 220mm guid sensor is in is amazing. I have a serrate Mini 222MM to that I will review separately soon.
The amp free sensors in the DUO are also a blessing. Making stacking both with and without calibration easy. My only reservation is that it is a OSC. Having used Mono cameras for a long time and since stacking with ASTAP makes the difference stacking complexity minimal if not non existent.

Will this camera change the industry? I think it will. I have sorta already said that in other videos so I did not put it in this one.

$2600MC DUO Guides With Narrowband Filters Many skeptics have been quick to voice their doubts about this camera. Often they cite the failure of the much older SBIG cameras from 2003. However the future seams to have a place for this kind of camera and configuration. My own first time testing this was filled with a lot of surprise and delight that this tech is able to work now given just how sensitive new sensors are. I know the Qe of sensors has almost quadrupled since 2003 so on that metric alone it should, in a lot of ways, not be a surprise at all. Cue the music but if others do not or are not already working on similar cameras they are going to miss out on an important new segment of camera hardware. I myself do not like OSC cameras but I love the simplicity of this system and champion it ease of use because I know it will get more people into the hobby. We can totally give credit to the backlash free nature of Harmonic drives. These kinds of mounts are clearly the future. They are accurate and precise.
