The Sense Energy monitor from Sense.com makes some big promises. The device is installed in your main electrical panel and uses machine learning to attempt to identify, and then track the electrical usage of your various appliances and devices in your home. I've been living with the Sense for a couple of months and I have to say that although I was expecting more... somehow I'm still really impressed with what Sense is trying to accomplish and definitely impressed with their software and detection of my appliances.
