The LIFX Tiles is one of my favourite feature lites. The combination of the large form factor with the 64 individual controllable LEDs per Tile has allowed LIFX to enable some really cool effects with enough power behind them to really set the mood in any room.

I recently installed a couple of Tile chains in my master bedroom to create a virtual fireplace affect and it was a really great hit with my girlfriend.

In the interest of helping other's make their partners happy, this video goes through using Amazon Alexa routines to create a voice trigger to setup the whole scene in one command.
