There's a lot of debate & contraversy in the bigfoot community about whether bigfoot's can produce infrasound, and if that's what is responsible for some of the bizarre effects people experience during and after their encounters.

So what is infrasound? I have a feeling that the reluctance for many bigfoot researchers to adopt and run with this theory comes down to an improper understanding of how infrasound works, and how sound works in general. So here's a crash course in the physics of sound.
