My second attempt to call B.S. on the flat earth. It's harder than you'd expect! Especially with the help of our friends at google - google earth has been coming in very handy indeed. It's interesting how when you're zoomed in past a certain point it seems to switch to flat mode, reflecting reality as we observe it.

Thanks to the guy who put the drop-off-below-horizon calculator together. If you see this, chime in and I'll give you the credit. If not (I don't think he expected it to prove the expected curvature can't be measured), I'll figure out in the next few days and give credit where credit's due.
