It isn't just in computers in electronics. A lot of hobbies rely on remaining sustainable by the archiving of documentation. Even something as simple as an owner's manual can unlock many secrets about an item that you many of never known.
The problem is everyone hates this part of the hobby. You need a scanner, you need time and of course once you have every page scanned and cropped, how to you make it back into a digital document and where do you host it?
In this video I'll talk a little more about my process and how even just a flatbed scanner and an older computer you can pretty easily make things into a sharable PDF. While I'm not insisting you do it my way exactly, it can help you develop a process on your own.
