In August 2024 I had plans to exhibit at the Vintage Computer Festival in Mountain View California. To do that, I had to get my 42 year old car to make the long trip down the coast from Canada. A trip most cars this age don't dare take anymore. I decided to do it anyways and hope it all held together.
In this video I'll talk about the car itself, a 1982 AMC Eagle station wagon, the condition it's in, the work I've performed beforehand and I'll be talking about all things imaginable on my way there and back.
