People have contacted me and it has become clear I may have overstretched my storytelling abilities in this story arc. A story without dialogue is difficult to convey, particularly for an amateur such as myself. This whole thing is a bit of an experiment. But for those who have asked, this is how I see the story.
The idea was when 10 drained the energy from a supernova to talk to Rose in the alternate universe he caused some further dimensional damage. The first episode was the Doctor from that Alternate universe landing in Bad Wolf bay and being caught by the dimensional fracture. The second episode was about a Doctor from an as-yet-unknown universe (perhaps the Cushing universe) happening across the dimensional fracture when he arrived at that star. The star itself was much younger but the dimensional fracture was there. Episodes three and four were the respective Doctors crossing the dimensional gap and meeting ‘the’ Doctor. Episode five was them sorting out what had happened and why. They also came up with a plan to use the three TARDISes to close the dimensional breach; however, this would result in the destruction of the TARDIS in our universe. The finale was them tethering the TARDISes together, pulling the dimensions apart and the consequences of these actions.
I think the 10th Doctor is great, he had a great deal of self-belief which gave him a slightly reckless streak. I often wondered if this would catch up with him, hence this story. I’m sorry if this was not conveyed as clearly in the episodes as it could have been.
